ABOUT
On January 1st, 2005 Pearson Technologies joined with Arnold Associates to become Pearson-Arnold Technologies, Inc. By joining forces, both companies were able to increase their potential to grow their business and better serve the industrial marketplace in the coming years.
Pearson Technologies was started in 1963 by Dick Pearson as Pearson Associates, and specialized in meeting the pollution control and process requirements of local industries for over 30 years. Dick grew the company, building around Donaldson Torit dust collection equipment and New York Blower fans, into a multi-line, multi-person representative agency, covering Minnesota, North and South Dakota, and western Wisconsin. Neil Goodwin bought the company in 1990 to allow Dick to retire from the business.
Arnold Associates began business in 1933 by Fred Arnold, and was joined by Ray Kocon in 1973, who bought the company in 1980. The business was built around selling Sweco screening equipment and Ramsey Bulk Products. Ray sold the business to his son Rusty in 2004, so he could gradually work towards retirement.
The merged entity, Pearson-Arnold Technologies, Inc. LLC, current product offering reflects this history and the longevity of our business relationships with customers and Principals, many of which we have been proudly representing for over 40 years. Our continuing philosophy is to represent a limited number of high quality Principals (manufacturers) and try to increase market share for those companies. This focus has been, and will continue to be, the basis for providing long term sales growth for our company.
We divide our Upper Midwest territory into geographical regions to maximize coverage capability, customer service and continuity for each different area. We have a technical sales support staff in place to provide customers with fast response for both quotes and other business related issues. We expect to gradually increase our staff to meet the continuing growth expectations for our Principals and ourselves.
We believe we have established a reputation for equipment and application expertise, while maintaining a strong ethical philosophy. With this in mind, our Pearson-Arnold Technologies, Inc. mission statement reads as follows:
